WannaFlix processes user data to a limited scope – for provision of the Services, processing payments for the Services, as well as the functioning of our websites. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We process the following basic information:
Email address. We ask for your email address when creating your account. This is necessary to login, to reset your password, and for essential communications with you (such as sending invoices and ticket replies).
Name. If you are concerned, you may use an alias when registering.
Password. We store your passwords as encrypted hashes. We do not have access to your original password.
WannaFlix keeps records of any correspondence, questions, complaints, or compliments you submit to us through our Site or Services, along with our response. This allow us to follow up on tickets and emails effectively.
Payment data (if using paid Services). This information is necessary to collect payments for our Services. This include country details, payment method, and email address.
Statistical server load information. We monitor server performance (cpu, ram, servers net usage) to recommend the most suitable servers to our customers, and to optimize our infrastructure.
We collect information regarding the total sum of data transfer you consume to implement fair use and VIP server data caps.
SmartDNS is our service for consoles like Apple TV and other devices that don’t support running a VPN. Because the service doesn’t run on an app and doesn’t have an option for username/password authorization, we rely on a system which authorizes specific IP addresses that you have chosen to register with us. You can register IP addresses by logging into our website and using the “SmartDNS Settings” page. Those IP addresses are then stored in our system in order to identify authorized devices for SmartDNS, and are not used for any other purpose. Updating your IP address overrides any previous records.
